This month's winner is
Whitney Wilkerson
"Here I’ve used Lily and Primrose for and orange themed delight!"

"Here is my very first Wild Seeds Patterns make - the beautifully simple Lily for the citrus challenge!"
Jess Mullens
"I had so much fun sewing these up and my girls had a blast with the theme and photoshoot.
Lily was the pattern that inspired me! Love the vintage 60s vibe ✌ Both are made from vintage sheets and tablecloth! For the checkered one I made citrus pockets 🍊 And floral I did a modified lily with a pleated skirt with buttons and a tie back."
Jacqueline Henderson
"The Amaryllis top was made entirely out of a few scraps and fat quarters. I unfortunately only had scraps of the lemon fabric available and made due the best I could with coordinating fat quarters. I didn't have enough fabric for the sleeves so I had to do quite a bit of modifying such as adding a liner to it. For the Garance skirt, I made a mistake on where to cut the seam and accidentally cut the front middle of the top skirt. I made it work by curving the front pieces and doing a rolled hem. I just love the summer vibes this outfit gives, even if its the middle of winter here in the states."
Noah Ruth
"I made the Camellia with a pointed waist in 6-9months, so it is a little too big at the moment, which is great as she still has plenty of room to grow - with tights and a cardigan added for our mild autumn and winter days in a few months.
Tulle was much easier to work with than I thought it would be. I changed the top skirt layer to have some fabric sewn behind which I then threaded ribbon through so the gathers can be tightened or loosened as she grows!"

"I had this gorgeous Camellia cut out for weeks 😬 So glad I got it finished in time! Absolutely love this colour on my girl 💛💛💛 I added gold trim to the split bodice seams and tulle on the straps for that floaty romantic look."
Falon Robinson
"A simple lime green Lily dress for Scarlett and I really love how bold but sweet it is! I didn't have the perfect button in my stash so added ties at the back instead and it's quite cute. Mia is wearing a Lily shift with a collar and pockets."
Katie Estell
"It is currently 40F(!! 😅) outside and windy as can be 🌬, however, we PREVAILED! she cried when I first put it on her and told her we were going to take pics and she would have to brave the cold 🤣🤣🤣 y'all, legit TEARS! so, out to Target we went for a long sleeve shirt and some tights and she was a pretty happy girl in her January Citrus Challenge submission after that! As we walked back to the house she said, "Mommy, I love what you made...I REALLY love this dress but I think its better suited for summer time!" bahahahahaaa, I LOVE THIS KID and I love this Lily. The skirt is definitely a labour of love, but it is SO WORTH it in the end! Look at my little lemon cupcake and her smile!"

"I grew up next to citrus grooves and would play hide and seek with my five siblings in them.
I used fabric from my stash along with lemon embroidery appliqué on the front and lemon embroidery on the side tab of this Anemone Wrap dress with Amaryllis puff sleeves. I also did a faux double skirt hem. I adore red gingham and eyelet lace together!"
Brittany Johnson
"I'm so excited I finished one of these just in time! My inspiration was dragon fruit meets 1950's sweets shop. I used the Camellia pattern, changed it to a halter top, added the belt and bow, and made the bottom two layers with a split in the top layer."
Brittany Wood
"I love all things citrus so when the January Comp was announced I just had to participate 😄🍊🍋
Dress is the WS Lily and headband is self drafted from the off cuts."
Morgan Virginia
"This project was a task! I had way too many ideas and they all kind of ended in a landslide to this outfit. I ice dyed some white cotton lycra and precast it was super vivid, but afterwards it was extremely muted and not what I was going for. But it turned into a pretty Iris peplum. My other idea involved black embroidered lemons all around a layer of a Garance Skirt and yellow dye dribbling down from the waistband. buuuutttt...time... instead we have a 1 layer skirt that can double as a fun and fancy swing top with jeans (or my eventual plan: paperbag waisted black shorties with a big yellow bow!!!)"

"Anemone wrap dress with button option for my little babe
Add on ruffle front with flutters 😍 super cute headband which she loves ( very unusual for her to wear anything in her hair 🙈)
I love how it turned out."
